Children aged 0–6 years are welcome to enrol at Little Teddies, with programmes tailored to each stage of their development. Our learning approach supports children from their earliest years through to their transition to school.

At Little Teddies, our GrowWell Programmes are designed to support whole-child development through play-based learning. At Little Teddies, we maintain teacher-to-child ratios in line with New Zealand ECE regulations to ensure each child receives attentive, quality care. Our team focuses on building strong relationships and providing individualised support based on each child’s needs and age.
We provide nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day to support children’s health and wellbeing. Our menu is balanced and child-friendly, and we cater for dietary requirements and allergies where needed.
Little Teddies is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm. Families can choose drop-off and pick-up times within these hours to suit their routines, and our team is always available to support a smooth transition at the start and end of each day.
Yes, we follow a consistent daily routine that provides structure while allowing flexibility for children’s interests. Each day includes a balance of play-based learning, group experiences, outdoor play, meals, and rest time, supporting children’s development across all areas.
We keep parents regularly informed through daily updates, conversations with teachers, and shared learning experiences. We also use the Educa platform to share learning stories, photos, and updates, along with monthly newsletters to keep families connected and informed.
